Booking a viewing or valuation

Updated 2nd November 2020

When you call to book a viewing or valuation, you’ll be asked If you or anyone you live with are showing symptoms or if you’ve been asked to self-isolate. Unfortunately we wont be able to meet you if you or anyone in your house hold has tested possitve within the past 14 days.

Visiting our office

Unfortunately, visits to our offices will not be permitted during the four week lockdown starting on 5th November 2020.  Unless in certain unique circumstances and always by appointment.

We strongly advise clients to view our properties virtually in the first instance.  We have video walk throughs of most of our available homes that we can send you via email or WhatsApp.  So we urge you to only physically view properties that you have a strong interest in.

We will only accompany physical viewings where we can maintain a 1-2 meter distance. Before a viewing we will be ensuring that all door handles and surfaces within the property have been fully wiped down with anti bacterial spray before anyone enters. You’ll then be provided with hand sanitiser as you enter the property. During the viewing  we will be wearing a face covering and you will beed to do the same.  Please reframe from opening and closing doors and cupboards as I will do this for you.

Please note that a maximum of two adults will be allowed in the house, no children under the age of 18 will be permitted to enter the property. Once the viewing has been completed we will wipe down all internal and external handles and surfaces with anti bacterial wipes and sprays.

Valuations will need to be pre-booked and will only be carried out if nobody in the household has symptoms and has not self isolating or has tested positive. We will arrive wearing a facemask and make sure to keep a 1-2 meter distance at all times. We will also have sanitised our hands before we enter a property.

Further notes

Should you book an appointment with us and subsequently you, someone in your household, or anyone you’ve been in recent contact with begin to experience symptoms, tests positive or is waiting for a test result then your appointment will need to be postponed until further notice.

Equally, if we, or anyone in our households or anyone we have been in recent contact with becomes ill then we will let you know at the earliest opportunity.
