Terms and conditions for selling fees.
These terms and conditions are intended to provide potential customers with a clear understanding of Abshot Estates fee structure. They are to be used and considered in accordance with our full terms and conditions outlined in our agency agreement.
Option 1 – Upfront payment.
If the vendor pays the agent an upfront fee of £1,250 for pre agreed services, this payment is inclusive of VAT and non refundable. If the vendor subsequently removes their property from the market for whatever reason or decides to appoint another estate agent then the fee paid is still non refundable. No additional fees shall be charged to the vendor by the agent unless pre agreed.
Option 2 – Part payment up front part percentage payable upon completion.
If the vendor pays the agent an upfront fee of £899 for pre agreed services, this payment is inclusive of VAT and non refundable. Upon successful completion of contracts 0.25% of the eventual sale price of the property is payable to the agent, inclusive of VAT. If the vendor subsequently removes their property from the market for whatever reason or decides to appoint another estate agent then, in accordance with the agents agency agreement, the agent is not entitled to the 0.25% of the eventual sale price of the property. The initial fee of £899 is still non refundable.
Option 3 – Traditional fee. No sale no fee.
The vendor agrees to pay the agent 1% of the eventual sale price of the property inclusive of VAT, upon completion of contacts. This is subject to our minimum no sale no fee of £1,999 inclusive of VAT
